tooth soup

Not much has been happening lately, hence the complete lack of posts of the newsy nature. Had the people around my place last night/this morning for a LAN that was more successful than usual. Probably because we had an all time super mega record of 6 computers. I think it was teh first time we’ve really had a night-time LAN as well, which was great becasue it was cool (temp wise). Mum was working as well which meant a lot of noise was produced. Urban Terror in particular is an incredibly funny thing to hear 6 guys playing. You’ll have these long periods of almost silence (apart from a few wise-cracks) then this large string of almost constant swearing and cursing. I think that probably the most coherent thing that came from my mouth was “Oh for fucks fucking motherfucking fucks fucking sake!”.

Yeah, I think it’s fair to say that lack of sleep tends to break down my fragile walls of civility. -.-”

I bought another monitor the other day, which was great. 19″ Flat Screen CRT. Coming from a 12.5″ to that is like getting in a teleporter after walking 50 miles to work every day. Add that to the fact that I now have a very cool dual monitor setup and you’ve got nerd-boy heaven.

I’m considering getting ADSL. Westnet seems to be the best ISP around in terms of $$$. I’ll have to convince matt to go halves with me for a year or so, since I don’t have that kind of money. While I’m at it I’ll collect blood from stones for Red Cross. And maybe splice bird and pig genes.

Anyway, I’m out. Tired.
