tooth soup

I went out with my buddy-o-awesomeness called Star. We started off by going to my sister’s housewarming for about an hour and a half or so. Best. Dip. Ever.
Star managed to find herself talking to a fellow Army person. It was actually kind of cool. We were just alking and Star said “Say again?” because she missed something that Dwayne (the guy) was saying. And he just turned around and said, “Are you from the Army?”. Because apparently “Say again?” is army speak. Tres cool.

So anyway, it wasn’t long before there was a quiet but unmistakable sense that everyone around us was at least 6 years older than ourselves. Fortunately Star’s friend Anita was staying in the Hyatt courtesy of her cousin Lucia (sp?) and was bored and needed companionship. Score one to us. We hung around there and then buggered off after 11pm. There were plans to go to another party in forrie but it didn’t really happen and instead we came back to my place and talked about all sorts for a while before I dropped her back home.

‘Twas a good night all round, even if I did get a little whingy towards the end for various reasons. Meh, anyway, gotta go to work. Sorry for the bland update.
