A day to tine Valen’s

by phill

Well I’m glad that that little piece of commercialised love is over. Not to sound bitter but for me Valentine’s day has always been experienced from the outside in. I’m sure that for individual couples it’s a great day to revile in the fact that you have a sugar coated lump of ecstasy at your side but for those of us without a date for the date – it’s a sickening event to even step outside the front door and into a world filled with love and happiness. Yech.

So! As predicted I spent the afternoon with one of my bestest buddy-o’s Star. Since yesterday was so stinkin’ humid it was a relief to step into Carousel and just wander around looking at stuff and chatting. And we had iced coffee at GJ’s, so that was good. I’m going up the pub with the guys on Thursday and meeting her up there (because apparently it’s a travesty that I’ve never actually been to the Kala pub) so we can have a couple of drinks and stuff.

Other than that, computer still not connecting to the ‘net much to my disgust. I also have to dress up for Pete and Cian’s birthday party and the movie sale – and I have no idea what to go as to either of them. So if youcould all try and give me ideas, possibly ones that can be worn twice to both, that would be good.

Also, Doom 3 is a very, very scary game. But so deliciously tasty lookin’.
