Where’d he get the hand?

Here’s a fairly great video illustrating what a real-life analog of a virtual desktop might be. It’s short, but I found it amusing. I love how he starts playing solitaire at the end.

For all you architects, or anyone that’s gotten drunk with an architect at a party and been told the secret of architecture (that is, everything is sexual), or has an architect as a girlfriend and wants to be seen as giving her something interesting to read on his blog in between the nerdy bits, here are the most phallic buildings in the world. Look on and be Freudian.

And today’s awesome picture is here.

Oktoberfest was rough. I’m still feeling the effects of it today, not necessarily in the liver department, but my voice is crokey as hell. I’ve been scaring the cat with it, though, so that’s a plus. Today’s plan: Complete another 10 hours of video training of how to learn Flash. Honestly, learning by video has got to be one of the best ways of doing so for software programs. If you’re lucky enough to have dual screen monitors (I used to, but alas, no more) it’s even better. Currently I’m squirreling through learnflash.com’s catalogue that my friend lent me, and I know buttons like the back of my hand. Intro page, here I come!
