Upon reading my latest entry, Stef recommended I do more exercise and see more of the sun. I didn’t dare attempt the latter–if I did, my skin would turn into fine granules of ash and blow away in the strength of a fly’s sneeze–but the former was an attractive proposition. Continuing my avoidance of the gym (I believe, on third thoughts, I will quit it) I went for a run around my block after dark. Looking at Google Maps, I’d estimate it as being around about 2.5 kilometres of running; 2.4 kilometres of which I was dying. Today the tops of knees and the small of my back are in agony, indicating that perhaps I should run on grass rather than hardened concrete, and that it might be a wise idea to get myself a pair of proper running shoes
Tonight I’m going into the city with a couple of friends to preorder my copy of Absolute Sandman Volume III, and to see if the store I buy from can get their hands on the bookends that are supposed to sit either side of a completed collection of said Absolutes. the bookends might be a tall order, but it’d set off the collection nicely.
