Couple of quick tidbits

I’m sick, and staying home today because of it. I should have stayed home yesterday as well, however we were getting new carpet put into the Maida Vale house and the dust from that wouldn’t have helped my clogged up nose too much, so I trudged into uni to infect my cohorts. Sounds like I could use some of what these guys are pushing:
The new carpet is nice though, very springy and feels like actual carpet rather than concrete that the stuff that we tore up did.
In other news, another of my flash fiction stories has graced the lovingly maintained halls of 365tomorrows. This one’s called ‘Good Evening Mr. Staden‘ and concerns a nostalgic cannibal. Figure out where that one came from, I dare you. June 20th marks my first publication in print, so keep an eye out for the magazine ‘Voiceworks’in newsagents and Borders stores around Australia, containing my short story ‘The Teal Girl’ along with a bunch of other (presumably) great young Aussie writers.
And for those that have been asking what my Age of Conan character looks like compared to Tim’s (don’t worry, clicking on them will bring up more than a zoomed-in version of their kiltyskirt thing):
I must also express my gratitude to Thom, for letting me use his account to ‘try out’ (read: become enamoured with) this pretty fun game.

Too bad about being sick, though.
So -that- is where you have been! Hope you get better soon, in the meantime I will do my bestest to not die from these exams. Also massive congratulations in order for Mr Staden, but you already knew how much I loved him ^^
Eh, it only happens a couple of times a year so I’m down with it. Heh, I won’t start getting excited about the mag until it arrives on my doorstep (:
Yesterday I basically stayed home and watch a heap of Rome and played a heap of AoC in between checking on my jobs (none of which even successfully left the queueing system :/). Souiel should be roughly your level by the time exams have finished, then I cna start practising what it’s like to be a healer in a group rather than on my own (:
I also miss the Cannel Nine community adds. Remember to not be a ding-a-ling Phill. No-one likes ding-a-lings.
