Unfortunately the bunkbeds we saw were bright yellow and blue and didn't contain any sleeping spacemen/aliens. It'd have kicked a lot more arse if it had! Kienholz actually took the idea of paying for a concept to the point that he sold concepts for pieces-to-be-made on plaques. I believe a couple of them actually ended up being made. Brilliant guy, one of my favorite artists of that era (60's/70's).
