Cockatoo rising.

I got in early
to university last week, in time to see the flocks of black cockatoos entertain themselves in the campus before the students invade. It was a pretty spectacular sight–and sound, they screech like nothing else–as they wheeled around in their hundreds to clutch at any worthwhile perch near the chemistry building.
What made it a more amusing sight was the way that a few cockatoos were trying to roost on the top of the giant exhaust pipe that juts out from the top of the building. This exhaust pipe emits air from all the air-conditioning and fume hoods in the building, so whenever the cockatoos got anywhere near close to landing on the rim, they were shot several feet in the air in a flurry of wings, desperately trying to stabilise themselves.
I’m going to go in tomorrow and see if I can’t get a snap of the rapid movement, it’d make a pretty good photo I think.

Anyone else think the Turbaconucken looks like a headcrab after it has been hit with an exploding gas tank?
1) I, too, want a buzz-saw book vase.
2) This is Why Your Fat is amazing. I showed it to my friend and she replied with “i think my cholesterol levels rose just looking at the pictures.”
I’m digging the blog and the random internet links. I don’t get enough random internet links in my day-to-day life. So thank you.
Haha, yes! I can just imagine the clicking/growling noise it’d make as it’s being served :/
Not a problem mate (: You provide me with tasty tasty music, and I’ll provide you with the linkolalia. They’re usually the picks of the bunch from the ridiculous amounts of RSS feeds I receive ever day, so a disclaimer that you may see them at some later stage if you watch the same ones as me.
