Nice. I know my sis got an 'electric typewriter' at one stage, which was kind of like the bridge between notebooks and typewriters. It was fucking noisy, awful looking, and took forever to set up. And I was ridiculously jealous.

I'm planning on providing snippets and links on a day-to-day basis while I research larger pieces. It's easy to do and keeps the momentum going so I don't want to skip a day. And hey, they're all going to be cool, trust me (;

I have a smith-corona Sterling, which is "flat" compared to these, but it still makes a good showpiece, and if I could find ribbons for it, I'd fuckin' use it. Old typewriters are the shit.
Since the SMC is mentioned in Naked Lunch, I consider it a cool addition for a 5 dollar acquisition back in bumfuck 94. Case was included, bonus.

And when did you become a link site? lame. Though I'll allow my own hypocrisy since I followed your typewriter link.

Another reason I dislike the Sony Alpha200. It really requires a lot of postprocessing if you don't want the highlights to blow out. In fact, the dyamic range is the only reason those photos aren't my desktop, as his composition and framing is fantastic!
