Back to reality.

The trip down
south was great. We relaxed a lot, spent hours lazing in the pool, or inside on couches, or outside on beaches. Got incredibly drunk and/or otherwise uncontrolled for both of the nights we were there, and generally had a good time. A couple of blips on the radar: an absconded half-bottle of vodka and a $30 fee for three pieces of chicken and some leaves. But then, some memorable moments: scaring ourselves at the sound of a hissing bird, attempting to snap a photo of a dragonfly, reading almost all of Rushdie, dacking Louise in the cold of the ocean. All up, a brill time. And now, the inevitable snap back to work and reality.
