Hail Beer!
by phill
I must preface
this next set of photos by saying that Perth gets hail about as often as England gets a 40+ degree day, or Paris Hilton runs out of store credit. So when we got back from Louise’s Mum’s roast dinner and found hail literally skirting our entire house, we went a little crazy. It was raining a bit, and a bit of lightning flashed, but we were mostly uninhibited in our flinging of perfectly rounded ice pebbles at each other. :D
The small puddle of hail that prompted us to search around the house for more.
Louise and her sandwich box of hail giving me a first strike.
Kaaaaaaah-maaaaaaaaayyy-aaaaaaaa-maaaayyyy…
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Just a casual fling.
Not ones to let things go to waste, we used a repurposed yoghurt container as a cooler and chilled some beer by the power of HAIL!
See? See? It’s frickin’ awesome.
Nom.
Cheers, mo’ nature.

I love everything about this post =]
@ Carly It was seriously fun! Really gotta organise a trip to the snow one year so we can do it with bigger bits :D
COME TO EUROPE!
I wantz to playz in de snow, and there’s more over here too – I say Switzerland!
I had to goto the top of a mountain to find snow the first time I was in Switzerland. And then the third time I was there it was everywhere and I get sinking through it when trying to sneak cross country and shorten the walk to work. Snow is fun.
I thought you were greeting beer when I saw it on my Google Reader and thats not where it went at all …
so thats what you ge up to now that you have moved out!
I almost take back the “lack of proof you exist” comment, yet somehow still not completely convinced.
Haha, snow is awesome when it’s not in London. Although, it did get me the day off and I was allowed to be half an hour late to work because I had to walk literally on iced roads. Best thing was getting to the tube platform and -everything- coated in white marzipan.
PS. Nice jumper. :D
