This is a

call to all my* occasional readers; I need some inspiration right now, and you’re the peeps to help out. Dan Simpson** has done this kind of thing for quite a while now, and it seems to be working for him.

For this first inspiration challenge, I’m taking a cue from Sam Cooney over at Troika Moonshine 300*** and asking any and all of you to provide me with three words. I’ll interpret these as immediately as I can, and post a 300-word story soon afterwards (though don’t hold your breath–I don’t want to be responsible for any asphyxiations).

Participants should have no expectation of quality. One prompt per person please. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Thanks to everyone who has given me prompts already, I really appreciate it. I’m going to try and get at least one or two done per day, then post them in little couplets as they come.
